What did we do this weekend? Four letters: NOLA.
On Sunday, we all loaded into a van and headed down to New Orleans for a day FILLED with fun! After an early morning and a three-hour van ride, it was time for some good New Orleans food. Where else is there to brunch other than NOLA, the fabulous French Quarter eatery owned by Emeril Lagasse?! We grabbed our table for 7 and enjoyed a delicious, leisurely meal...
After brunch, we went to NOLA Rugs on Magazine Street to learn all about the amazing goods they have to offer. In case you haven't heard, we are hosting a NOLA Rugs rug show, starting Thursday, March 1 and running through Sunday, March 4. Nothing like this has ever come to our area before!
Sharon, owner and rug guru that heads up NOLA Rugs, gave us an in-depth tutorial of NOLA rugs. What they have to offer will amaze you (just like it amazed us! We knew these rugs were fantastic, but now our appreciation for them is through the roof.... WOW!)
From modern to traditional and from antique to brand new, there is a NOLA Rug to fit into just about any style and any budget. Drop by the rug show and let us share our newfound NOLA Rugs knowledge with you! (Did we mention that we'll have help on hand to get your favorite rugs over to your home for approval? More importantly, did we mention that we'll be open until 7:30 on Thursday with wine and hors d'oeuvres to make your shopping experience as relaxed as it can be?!)
NOLA the city, NOLA the restaurant, and NOLA Rugs.
Who could ask for a better Sunday?!
