Lindsey Townsend is a Jackson, Mississippi native and has had a successful design career in the Jackson area for over a decade. She is a graduate of Mississippi State University with a degree in Interior Design. She started her career in Nashville, Tennessee working with a family-owned architecture and interior design firm that had an emphasis on boutique hospitality design, as well as high-end residential design.
Her current work is primarily concentrated in the southeast, but she can work remotely and does so often, completing projects as far as Chicago and Kansas. Her work has been featured in Beautiful Kitchens & Baths, Mississippi Magazine, and Southern Home, among other publications.
Lindsey believes beauty and function are equally important when working with clients to create the overall scope of the project. She takes the time to get to know how her clients live in their space and believes no two projects are alike. Hence, each space will be personalized to compliment the client's individual preferences and lifestyle. The interior should blend seamlessly with the architecture and surroundings of the space. Cohesiveness is an important feature in creating balance throughout your home. She believes in a balance of antique and contemporary pieces within a home, creating a space that feels current, yet timeless.
Lindsey thrives on projects from the early construction phase through the furnishing phase. She always pays attention to detail and believes it is an integral piece of what can set a home apart from others. She loves all aspects of design and strives to continually grow her portfolio and design skillset. Her ultimate goal, no matter the size of the project, is to make the process as easy as possible for her clients while creating a uniquely inspired environment for each of them.
